Good afternoon, Robina Families,

Welcome to September! We luckily had a little reprieve from the extreme heat of last week. It was a special week as we welcomed our Kindergarten classes for their full days as well and we had staggered entry for our Early Intervention Pre-Kindergarten students. It was wonderful to see our smallest learners enter the Robina family and join our wonderful learning community. We are excited to watch you grow!

This week, I wanted to draw your attention to our School Council. Their first meeting of the year is scheduled for September 15th, 2025 at 6:00 PM. All parents are welcome at our school council meetings to hear about the great things happening within the school as well as some of the initiatives that our parents are hoping to take on this year. You can find more information about our School Council on our website, including an agenda for the first meeting. We are so lucky to have such a dedicated group working to support our students. The Fundraising Society is trying to kickstart some fundraising this year with the Old Dutch Chip fundraiser. Be sure to check it out!

Our very first extracurricular activity is coming soon! Mrs. Rothfos and Mrs. Suter will be coaching our Grade 3/4 Cross Country team. Thank you for dedicating your after-school and lunch break times to our students!

VERIFICATION FORMS are up and ready to be completed. Though we appreciate this is a task to complete, it is an important one! It covers everything from Walking Field Trips like Terry Fox (coming up soon), to updating your personal information to signing our technology agreements. Please complete as soon as possible to avoid our secretarial team having to follow up by phone. We appreciate your attention to this.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend ahead!

Mr. Coffin & Mrs. Kirton
